The School of Pharmacy at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville is hosting a Summer Pharmacy Camp for high school students interested in health sciences and healthcare careers. The camp is FREE but space is limited.

The Dare to Dream Scholarship is for high school seniors with developmental disabilities (must have a recognized developmental disability which includes conditions that affect physical, learning, language, or behavioral abilities) and is open to any that are within any McHenry County, IL school district. There is also the Sibling Unity Scholarship is for graduating seniors who have a sibling with a developmental disability. Criteria also at link.

Several $1,000 scholarships are awarded from the Illinois Bankers Scholarship and the Linda J. Koch Scholarship funds. Students should be seeking a financial industry-related field. The McHenry County Farm Bureau Foundation offers the John W. Hoffman Memorial Scholarship of $1,000 for the next generation of farmers or tradesmen and the MCFB Foundation Agriculture Scholarship of $1,500 for students pursuing continuing education in agriculture or agriculture-related fields. There are three virtual information sessions happening soon for the UIUC Engineering Pathways Program, a partnership with McHenry County College . This is an amazing opportunity. The Johnsburg Girls Basketball team defeated Regina Dominican last week to become Regional Champions!! The first Sectional game will be tomorrow night (February 24) with tip off at 6 pm. IHSA requires EVERYONE to pay a $9 admission fee. However, thanks to anonymous donor, the first 50 JHS students with their current student ID will get in for FREE!!

The Johnsburg Community Club offers the Joe Frett Memorial Scholarship. This will be awarded to a JHS graduate who demonstrates leadership, citizenship, and community involvement during their four years at JHS. Applicants are required to have an interview before the scholarship committee as part of the application process. Applications are in the CCRC and the Deadline is April 24.

The ILLINOIS NATIONAL COLLEGE FAIR is on March 7th @ Moraine Valley Community College from10 am – 1 pm.
