JHS is hosting a field trip to tour the Scot Forge facility in Spring Grove on Wednesday, January 7th from 11:30a until 2:15p. Scot Forge is a metal forging company that specializes in creating custom, high-precision forged metal parts. They produce components from a variety of materials for industries like aerospace, defense, energy, and heavy industrial equipment. If you are interested , pick up a Permission Form in the CCRC and return it completed by December 16th. If you have questions, see Mrs. Tassone or Mr. Haurum

🎁 JHS CARES Toy Drive: Donate to Toys for Tots! 🎁

Help us bring joy this holiday season! JHS CARES student council is collecting toys for Toys for Tots from December 1st - December 4th.

🧸 How to Donate:

Drop off your new, unwrapped toys during your scheduled class time.

Student donation times: 4th, 5th, and 6th periods in the cafeteria.

For every toy donated, students will earn 5 points to the Golden GOAT scoreboard and be entered for a chance to win a gift card. 📚🎉🏫

Outside Donations Welcome! Families can drop off donations between 8:00 AM – 2:40 PM at the front office each day. Just be sure to leave the donating student's name and grade with the donation.

Tomorrow night, November 19 is the 2026 Healthcare Career Exploration Night from 5 to 7 pm at Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital. Students/parents can learn about healthcare careers and connect with professionals in the field.

The Geisinger Scholarship Program at the University of Michigan is a $20,000 annual support for students and is renewable as long as the student maintains a 3.0 GPA, is enrolled full-time in the College of Engineering, and declares an Engineering major at the University of Michigan.
