Congrats to Ms. M. Dicker's class who sang the part of "American Girls" by Harry Styles for our Fun Friday! Have a great Weekend!

Interact Club is partnering with Read with a Buddy to collect hardcover children's books K-3rd grade level and stuffed animals including beanie babies. Please NO squishmallows. Items can be gently used/good condition. They will be donated to food pantries, homeless shelters & underprivileged children in the area to help promote literacy. Donation box located in JHS cafeteria. Items will be collected until April 2nd.

Our representative from University of Wisconsin - LaCrosse is in the JHS cafeteria during the lunch periods today. Stop by for information, questions or just say hello.

Grand Valley State University near Grand Rapids, MI is hosting "Laker Open Houses" on Saturday, March 28 or Saturday, April 11. Representatives from academic departments and student support services will be available to answer questions.
Campus visits are available Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays through April.

The Johnsburg Oldtimers Club/Gerald Wakitsch Scholarship is for a Senior who has played at least one year of Varsity baseball at JHS. An in person interview is part of the application process. Copies of the application are in the CCRC. Deadline is April 10, 2026.

The Spel-Lang Scholarship is sponsored by a a former Johnsburg teacher for students who have excelled in the area of written or oral communication with an emphasis on the creative aspects of communication. Applications are in the CCRC. Deadline is April 24, 2026.

Help Cares with their fundraiser - buy a duck!

Prom tickets go on sale Monday, March 16th after school in the cafeteria. They are $95 each. If you plan on bringing a date who does not attend JHS, you will need a date form signed prior to purchasing your tickets. They are available in the main office or room 235. This year’s theme is Hollywood Nights. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Furrenes.

The Deckard Mueller Family Scholarship is for a student who has faced a significant life event that has impacted their life, yet the student continues to demonstrate resilience, determination, and personal growth. The Army National Guard brought in their Jump Zone today for our PE classes and a little education in what the Army National Guard actually does. A good time is being had by all!

The boys basketball team will play in their first sectional game versus Aurora Christian at Mendota at 7 pm on Wednesday, March 4th. Tickets will be $9 cash at the door or $67 on gofan.com. Go Skyhawks!!!!
