Last week JHS hosted our annual Career Fair with over 59 area businesses and military groups. There was a vast variety of businesses represented from aviation to real estate to even positions in the educational field! Students did a great job interacting with the businesses and finding out more about what is out in the "real world". Thank you to all for making this happen!
Another successful College Fair at JHS last week with over 75 colleges/universities/military branches. We had students from Richmond-Burton, Grant and Wilmot also attend. Students were very interactive with the reps and had great questions for them. Lunch was delicious subs provided for our reps by the soon to be ArrivaDeli & Market (the former Johnsburg Angelo's) - a rep favorite since the 1st JHS College Fair!

Lovely pic of the JHS Memorial Garden that includes bricks laid in memory of our fallen Skyhawks, both staff and students. Our fabulous JHS Head Custodian and her awesome sister/custodian, Kamila, have done an awesome job of beautifying the garden this spring and it shows! Thank you both for making JHS look great!!

JHS students along with their chaperone, Mr. Vassar, are spending the day at the McHenry City Hall as part of Senator Wilcox's Spring Youth Advisory Committee. Students from many of the high schools of the Illinois 32nd District are invited in the Fall and in the Spring to learn about Illinois Government, the legislative process and to take home great advice and leadership lessons that will help them in their future endeavors.
