The JHS UNIVERSAL SCHOLARSHIP is now available. This is one application for 6 scholarships with varying requirements. Applications are in the CCRC and due back by April 24, 2026.

Interact Club is partnering with Read with a Buddy to collect hardcover children's books K-3rd grade level and stuffed animals including beanie babies. Please NO squishmallows. Items can be gently used/good condition. They will be donated to food pantries, homeless shelters & underprivileged children in the area to help promote literacy. Donation box located in JHS cafeteria. Items will be collected until April 2nd.

Grand Valley State University near Grand Rapids, MI is hosting "Laker Open Houses" on Saturday, March 28 or Saturday, April 11. Representatives from academic departments and student support services will be available to answer questions.
Campus visits are available Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays through April.

Have you lost or misplaced something? The picture below is back in the Athletic Hallway and shows all the things that have been found in and around the gym. Please take a look and see if anything is yours or from your family. Items will be be tossed/donated on March 20.

The Johnsburg Oldtimers Club/Gerald Wakitsch Scholarship is for a Senior who has played at least one year of Varsity baseball at JHS. An in person interview is part of the application process. Copies of the application are in the CCRC. Deadline is April 10, 2026.

The Spel-Lang Scholarship is sponsored by a a former Johnsburg teacher for students who have excelled in the area of written or oral communication with an emphasis on the creative aspects of communication. Applications are in the CCRC. Deadline is April 24, 2026.

Prom tickets go on sale Monday, March 16th after school in the cafeteria. They are $95 each. If you plan on bringing a date who does not attend JHS, you will need a date form signed prior to purchasing your tickets. They are available in the main office or room 235.
