VOICE OF DEMOCRACY has been the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW's) premier scholarship program since 1947. Students compete by writing and recording an audio essay with this year's theme being: "What a Veteran Taught me about America." It is open to students in grades 9 - 12.
