Pre-K Screening Information
During the preschool years, parents often wonder if their child’s development is typical of that seen in same age peers. Developmental screenings are designed to address these concerns and help parents learn more about their child’s skills in the areas of communication, fine/gross motor, problem-solving, and personal-social. Once completed, parents will be able to discuss the results and any concerns they may have regarding their child. Should their child qualify, Ringwood School Primary Center offers an At-Risk Preschool Program for families living within the Johnsburg School District boundaries.
Johnsburg CUSD 12 offers free developmental screenings throughout the school year to assess young children’s skills. These screenings are conducted by a team of District Educators and Specialists and are available to families living within the Johnsburg School District whose children are 3 to 5 years of age.
