Dear Parents:

We have created summer activity resources for our current students that are full of activities and fun ideas for you and your child to work on and enjoy during the summer months.  These are just suggestions, but we hope that you will find some of the activities useful.  You can also find many of the suggested books in your local library.  We encourage you to visit the library often, and read to your child every day!

Presentations in Preparation for the Upcoming School Year

As the school district plans for the upcoming school year, we realize the importance of providing updates to our parents, students, and community members regarding some changes that will take place this fall.  Over the next few months our school facilities and grounds will begin to change in appearance as we embark on the initial stages of modernizing and renovating our buildings.  In an effort to keep our community members informed, we have created a series of online presentations that discuss construction activities and changes to our schools.

District Staff Recognition Dinner – I asked the Board to join with me in commending Terry Burke, Beth Seger and Kim Giovanni for their efforts in organizing the District Recognition Dinner that was held on April 18th. Once again, R.J Gravel did a fabulous job serving as the D.J. for the event. Thanks to all of you who attended the dinner in support of your fellow staff members as they reached significant milestones in their careers with Johnsburg School District.
