Each week. faculty and staff members will review three (3) Apps that can be downloaded on iOS devices (iPod Touch, iPad, iPhone).  To begin, we have selected a few Apps that are shown below.  If you have an idea for Apps that we should promote and review, please send the name of the App and your experience with it to rgravel@johnsburg12.org

iWrite Words (Handwriting Game)
Grade Level: Pre-Kindergarten - Second Grade

Purpose:
This App teaches students how to draw simple letters.  It integrates nicely with Ringwood School's Handwriting Without Tears program.

Program Functionality:
Students follow an animal on the screen with their finger to draw the letters or numbers correctly.  Students then dump the letters in the trash can to move to the next lesson.

Cost:
Regular version is $2.99.  There is a Lite version available with limited letters.
