Johnsburg School District Held Annual Spelling Bee on May 3rd

Johnsburg School District 12 held the annual district spelling bee on Wednesday, May 3rd at Johnsburg High School. Students from grades 3 – 5 participated in this event. Students compete in classroom and grade level bees in order to represent their entire grade at the district bee. Students who reach the final bee have achieved a great deal and we are very proud of their accomplishments.

Notice to Parents Regarding a Call to the Fire Department

In our efforts to keep our parents and community members informed we wanted to share that this evening, around 5:30 PM, the fire department was called to Johnsburg High School due to a dryer catching fire in our custodial area. The dryer is utilized daily to clean towels and other school-owned resources, and experienced a technical failure leading to a minor fire. No students were directly affected by the fire, and it was isolated to a staff-only custodial area of the building.

New Email Notifications for Parents

In an effort to provide additional forms of communication to our parents regarding their students performance, we have recently made some enhancements to our student information system, Skyward. These enhancements provide parents the opportunity to sign-up for additional email notifications that will be sent automatically. Summer 2012 Athletic Camp Registration

Johnsburg High School is proud to announce the opening of online registration for summer 2012 athletic camps.  For the second year, athletic camp registration can be processed at anytime using the camp registration system.  At the time of registration parents will be prompted to pay with a credit card.

The vision of Johnsburg School District prioritizes the need to form and maintain school, family and community partnerships. Upcoming Pre-Kindergarten Registration and Screening

Johnsburg School District 12 will hold registration for all children who are three, four or five years of age, and who have not yet entered kindergarten. It will take place at Ringwood School Primary Center on Tuesday, March 6th and Wednesday, March 7th, according to the following schedule:
